News in the Dolphin Room
- Starting next week, word sorts will now be sent home every other week to allow more
opportunities for practice. I strongly encourage you to have your child cut out and sort
the words a couple of times at home. "More practice makes progress".
- Early Release is this Wednesday, February 4!@ 12:50 PM.
- Day 100 is now slated to fall on Monday, Feb. 9. Please send in your 100 piece
snack at that time.
Here's a glimpse of what we worked on during our short last week:
- Learned how to compare numbers using >, <, and = symbols.
- Used a variety of craft materials to decorate a snowman.
- Wrote our first Star Student letter
- Continued to read/write nonfiction books

- Tell me about "time robbers".
- Can you explain "text" features?
